Folks I know this year has been tough. I am one of you. I lost my job this year due to favoritism within the VP level. My boss chose a-s kissers over talent. This Christmas was hard this year. My kids and spouse didn’t get to have the Christmas they wanted because we couldn’t afford it. We had to cut back. I felt guilty but what matters most is everyone understood and we have eachother.
I want the leaders at Staples and HT to know they ruined Christmas for my family. I want to call names out but it would mean me resulting to their level. Maybe I will soon, by each name. My old VP didn’t have to look my kids in his eyes when I said no presents this year.
I will remember you sir, but I forgive you. I pity you. We aren’t family. Any VP that says we are, we aren’t. Family does not lay people off to save money. We make it work.
I will remember you. One day, we will meet face to face and you will be working for me. And then, I will make it work that you stay. Not the other way around to save your job.
For the rest of you that has been laid off, your time will shine again and the evil that walks at Staples will be judged.
