That would be the best Christmas present. I can't believe I went from being stressed about layoffs 24/7 to not caring at all, or even worse, hoping I’m affected. There’s something fundamentally broken with this place if this is how some of us are feeling. And I know I’m not the only one who feels this way.

I can't wait to get laid off, pay off debt and do something more simple. I'm tired of this corporate facade.
Many people at Citi are praying to be laid off. Just hang in there.
You must be well off or can do without income for a while.
Citi does not care about its employees, so why should employees care about Citi? Do the bare minimum, get your package , and then leave to a better place.
Let Citi pay for messing up the careers of employees.

Don’t get me wrong, I have bills like anyone else and need a paycheck like anyone else. It’s just so old now as its constantly being brought up at work.
I can’t remember one week at work where someone hasn’t mentioned Citi laying off people at least once. Its a culture of fear to “make you step in line” I guess. As I said, it gets old.
