Dell is my life and my family so this is the week which I do not like and think the company should get rid of it. I'd rather work this week and hang out with my colleagues. My house is big and empty at this time of year.

No one should devote their life to a company unless they are a founder, even then try to see the world as it is. .
I have seen too many people pour their hearts and souls into their jobs only to be' declared surplus, furloughed, let go, outsourced - whatever euphamism HR is using that week. Some had devoted careers to companies like Texas Instruments or Balfour and the Attleboro Massachusetts facility. Some laid off when they were in their 60s after forty or fifty years of service.
It's the same here. You did your job and you were paid. That's the loyalty
MD and JC - go spoil your kids some more so they can be total POS when they finally grow up at 50
I would feel sad for you.... but you do know that your love will sh-t can you as soon as it sees a chance.... Dell cares not about you, only the bottom line.... trust me, I know.
volunteer as a valet at the executive holiday party and drive some sweet rides
you could RTO for the holidays if you feel nostalgic. sniff the seats, have a few laughs etc
Mr Dell,
Go spend time with your family.
This shithole will be here after Christmas.
Do some volunteering and meet people!
"Nobody is this much of a loser"
Dell @20 year I9: 'hold my beer'
This must be a joke. Nobody is this much of a loser
Dope
Finally a brother in arms! I hate this week too! I live to work, I live to serve the mighty DELL!
I thought my life was bad. Thank you for the pick up :D
This is a mental break for me from Dell!!!
I think you need a serious hobby. A workplace should not be “your life” and with Dell’s track record of WFR’s, you could be next. Hoping leadership will stop the paid week off because of your feelings is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard of.
JC just go buy a new tShirt during the off week.
I like to park my car in front of RR1 and hum Jingle Bells.
you'd be the minority
