Just an observation of mine. It's bad enough with Ellison and the understaffing and the endless push for credit. But, couldn't we at least have some humor in this company? I swear that the vast majority of the people here at Lowes are just stiff. Like, they take themselves and the whole company too seriously and there's just no fun to it. You can't even crack a joke here as it seems to be over too many heads here. (I think Hank tries to be funny and at least he tries but it's mostly a fail). No offense though, most of the company is too stiff and boring.

It used to be fun to work at Lowes. The managers didn’t keep themselves aloof from the other associates like they do now. But I think in general things are going in that direction. Ever since we had to wear masks and stand 6 feet apart, it has felt like all the fun was su-ked right out of public life. And now the economy is struggling—look at the parking lot at Lowes, it’s empty after about 4pm—and so the customer is serious about getting a deal and Lowes is serious about making the sale…
Melvin and Small Hands are both comedy acts so you do have a point there!
Not accurate. Melvin and Small Hards are laughing all the way to the bank!
It started getting that way towards the end of the Niblock years, but has definitely gotten worse under God Bless and his Krewe.
