Well, I quit two weeks ago. Taking a couple week break before starting my new job. I don't think I have slept as well as I did last week in a looooong time.
Looking forward to doing real engineering again

So far the layoffs are far short of 10% (~17K) and probably associated with the capital raise. That leads me to believe the majority of the RIF notices are still forthcoming.

Well the good news is they announced there are no layoffs for IAM.

Getting rid of the machinists would be a good start to the new year.
The company did what the banks/creditors wanted to maintain stock status before the end of the year, no immediate layoffs will occur until the “new strategy” is revealed which is when programs/projects will be cut, that means people too…
