Is anybody else tired of being incentivized by fear and nothing else? It's exhausting.

Citi excels at one thing : demoralizing the employees. Here they crack the whip, use fear tactics, insult , abuse, do everything that takes the joy out of working for Citi. It’s like being in an abusive relationship with Citi’s attitude of : I do it because I can.
So why give Citi your 100%?
Do the least until your number is called. Then move on to greener pastures.
I think is more mediocrity than fear. You can excel at your job yet you are disposable and certainly not valued for your effort.

I agree 100%, be incentivized. Realize you are an expense and can be discarded. Given that, why not be considered an expense for some other company for more money.
If you’re going to provide your skills, provide value and be considered an expense….go somewhere else and provide those same skills and value, for less hours and more bucks.
Just move on down the road. Get off the train and board another train going into a different direction.
Im incentivized by getting paid every two weeks, and watching my net worth grow through investments. You folks need to keep your eye on the prize (freedom to do what you want when you wake up every day). No company (including Citi) cares about its employees the way you want them to. Either be the boss, or realize you are an expense to the business, regardless of whether you generate revenue or not.
Post ID: @akm+1w7zBEuI Exactly. The good, high performing employees Got Off the CitiTRAIN WRECK.
That's why $hittybank is the Dysfunctional FUBAR Potemkin Village of !d!ots !
Gee….I came across this meme that probably needs to go here.
Top performers don’t quit jobs, they quit:
Bad managers
Stagnant career growth
Bad processes
It seems that fear is the only thing Citi is selling these days. Get used to it.
Like Jane said, “if you don’t like it, then get off of the train”.
You either need to step in line with the way that Jane wants the company to run or leave.
