Past MD comments during TH meetings.
- “Well the good thing about laying off as many times as we have is that we’ve gotten better at it.”
This is a crazy MD comment. Normal MD’s in other companies look at layoffs as a problem. They look at it as an unfortunate step to address bad strategic decisions from the past but not here, not at Citi.
- “Get off of the train” then later by the same person “We recognize that we have an issue retaining talent and we are taking steps to address that”. LOL, classic Jane.
- “We are a bank, we are in the business of making money by handling money. This is what we do, we go where the money is. Its the nature of a bank.”
