Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Guys, just let it the freak go and move on to some other company. Seriously.

A bell curve or not and the ole HR soft shoe shuffle of, as having already been posted….“A bell curve that’s flexible, sometimes inverse but adjustable to be recurve if needed….blah….blah…blah….its all designed to confuse and frustrate you so you give up and seek employment elsewhere.”

Accommodate Jane’s wishes and leave for some other company. Moaning all day, sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting and hoping that things will get better or you’ll be passed over on the rolling layoffs, does no good. The “fingers crossed” method will not save you nor will it change the path that Jane has set this company on.

Read the tea leaves, you’re not going to win, so just move on. Start job searching and interviewing now as it may take a while. Remember, you are 100% guaranteed to never find a job, if you never start.

“See something, say something” gets you a guaranteed PIP. You’ll find that just all of a sudden you can’t seem to do anything right like you used to. You know what, I just don’t think its working out for you here.

Trust me, I’ve seen it. Do what you’re told, say everything is great and awesome and if you just can’t stand it anymore, just move on.

That's the defeatist, helpless attitude that got citi here in the first place. See something, don't say something, and certainly don't fix something.
