Recall this comment after TG was chosen over CM, and CM posted about not getting the gig:

All I can say is, DG definitely has a type when you look at VW and KS. The only thing people are talking about from her December town hall is how often she mentioned "hot n*tz." She seems, much like DG, a bit clueless. Just su-k the oxygen from any space.

So glad I made the decision to join USAA! Everything is falling into place, and it's exciting to introduce fresh ideas into a company with such a legacy history. Big congratulations to VW and KS on their expanded roles under DG – well-deserved!
DG is an empty suit. Ruless for thee, not for me type. Chased out a number of good leaders under him. Totally uninspiring.

A meeting to discuss my team structure, hiring, and such for next year was cancelled last minute after this news.
What's the consensus on DG? Seemed like ESD folks were/are unhappy but not sure if that was all on him or not.
