Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

Are layoffs coming in 2025

Heard from a source that layoffs might be coming soon. We just went through one round in November, what do they want? How can a company even function when the morale becomes so low from all the layoffs and lack of collaboration between coworkers.

Jokes on some of the IT support team. Can't get anything across, and in the end, it needs a non-GCC worker that resolves everything. Everyone in GCC's automated response is to find someone else.

Did y'll hear any news from upper management about potential or upcoming layoffs?

Also, are layoffs really happening?

Kindly don't spread false info.

Here's that article from The Gateway Pundit and it's worse than I thought.

Not only did the whistleblower tell that many skilled USA jobs are being replaced with Indians, apparently those jobs sent to India also were handling highly sensitive personal data of US citizens which, if true, could result in a fine against TU.

Just heard from my upper level that there won’t be mass layoffs but there will be in small amount w.r.t layoffs not sure when. Higher level management are not recognizing individuals even tho everyone’s putting so much hard work.

Thoughts?

The Gateway Pundit website published on 1/6: Whistleblower Exposes TransUnion’s Shocking Outsourcing Scandal: Sensitive U.S. Data and Intelligence Databases are Being Handled by Underpaid Workers in India.

All about how jobs in the USA are going to India and people being laid off in the USA.

This is fake news. Most if not ALL of the IT team at TransUnion were laid off and or cancelled. PMs, Network and other teams that did all the support of that infrastructure have left and pursued other careers. Go figure lets lay off the people who actually showed up to work for 20 + years got projects done, stayed those 20 + years for lousy raises, awful treatment but stayed because we were a good team who actually communicated. Now its all scripted and if what you asking is not on the script it won't get done.

But I am happy to see those individuals I had the pleasure working with, move on from a toxic crumby company like TransUnion. I visit Linkedin and enjoy seeing people finding new work and better life.

If anyone stuck around that torture company was hired as a contractor and working for GCC.

Everything needs a non GCC worker to do anything. It will be incident galore and nothing getting developed when they end up with a fully GCC workplace which I expect it to will be within a few years
