Looks like the interns from this past summer all got told that they would not be getting offers. This was due to the uncertainty of the economy and being an election year.

This is false. Plenty of interns received offers. However, there is definitely a reckoning coming this year. Other companies are reorganizing and we will follow. Cuts to the mid and lower levels in refining while we keep adding bosses at the top to steer us into the ground
The only certainty is elevated share buybacks.
