I hope those who come up with such great organizational or cost-cutting ideas are aware of this fact. Or they don’t care. Any wholesale attrition strategy or layoffs by numbers chase away the most competent and skilled people or they simply cause them to slip through the cracks. They are the first to leave, because they have a choice, or they are targeted first because they are costly. When you must cut, wouldn’t you want to keep talent and shed the worst performers? But that would require competence and too much effort, I guess.

At this point everyone knows RTO is the right thing to do.No more part time work for full time pay.Every good employee should endorse this policy with much zeal.Or if not possible GTFO
Leadership wants only bo--y kissers and Yes men/women. They could care less about talent or competency. Dell needs new leadership now but doubtful will happen.
Ready and hoping for a layoff and a package in February. Working here is AWFUL. They wanted to make us miserable the last 3 years. Mission fuggin accomplished.
matters little as we've all watched talented folk be let go; the budget that matters, and we know RTO here and other firms is a squeeze play for voluntary attrition
"Yep - I’m giving my notice right after Xmas break, logic is sound. But it’s what they want - Dell wants people competent enough to do the job, but not A-team people to challenge leadership."
Get your offer before handing in your notice...it's a sh-t market out here. Ask me how I know.
