We are not little children. We all know what happened and why, what kind of a company and leadership we work for, and what we can expect in the future. Do they really think silly words and obvious lies work on anyone above the age of two? I’ll add that nonsense to the growing list of reasons to leave this company at the first opportunity.

Trust the process. lol
Also, make sure you lean into all of the opportunities in front of us.
Going forward, we need to circle back and leverage our synergies to move the needle on this layoff. By drilling down and identifying the low-hanging fruit, we can ensure we're delivering best-in-class results. Let's touch base offline to discuss actionable items and ensure we're all on the same page. At the end of the day, thinking outside the box and raising the bar are crucial for achieving our strategic objectives. Lets make this moment matter.
Someone needs to tell leadership that a Global Town Hall, Enterprise Town Halls, and Function Town Halls all within a week of each other are not helpful and actually decrease moral and reduce productivity. The messages are the same, the buzz words are the same, there are no clear answers. Give people something they can get excited about vs the same message on 5 different town halls.
We talk about authentic servant leadership, we should walk the walk.
You want people empowered, to act as an owner, and to have a bias for action? Be transparent and bring them in the conversations about the future of Cargill. It’s hard for people leaders to lead if they have no information and aren’t consultants on the roles being assigned to their team members.
What a mess this place is a giant mess and no capable leaders to be seen, just jargon management speak nonsense. If you bring anything practical up you get shut down in my experience
Hate the executive speak. Talk like you'd speak to your neighbor or family member.. its not authentic tbh
They think they are smarter than us, thats why. What they dont realize is that having a sr manager (i intentionally dont use the word leader) position, doesnt equate to higher intelligence. Their egos drive them, they focus more on their career than the truly important things in life. They dont realize that yet but they will when they eventually leave and no one cares or remembers them. Most dont have real friends outside of work. Its pathetic.
