I was laid off last spring. I didn’t think to find out if we would get a prorated bonus in 2025 for the 5 months of employment in 2024. At my previous employer (a major), we did.
Thanks to everyone still working there.

There are very few believers left. Everybody just wants BT to be over without having been called into a room with HR to be laid off.
If they don’t compensate the few believers left there will be a mass exodus, of talent and intel. This is the last merry-go-round for many. The only hope is the “mass exodus” have a foot in with the new administration and can share the details of the hypocrisy that is P66. “US based” needs to be defined not only by the registered/operating location, but by the address of its employees. No corporate tax breaks for US companies that outsource their workforce to the detriment of US families and hire the best person for the job, be they white, black, blue or purple. It’s enough.
Wouldn’t surprise me on the discretionary. I mean costs cutting doesn’t leave that budget out of the question. How far do you squeeze the turnip?
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the VCIP isn't amazing, since that would benefit employees at the expense of the shareholders (the horror!), but anyone saying they know what it is going to be is full of it.
A rando having access to the compensation and benefit business plan that is very tightly held by just picking the right network location? Sounds legit.
It was already budgeted into the business plan. Gotta know the right network locations 😉
KM already setting the stage for low VCIP.
Shouldn’t be hearing anything on VCIP yet. 4Q isn’t over and so results aren’t in. Can’t predict what it’ll be, but anyone saying it’s X or Y right now is full of it
VCIP payout guesses? 0.125?
I hear it’s worst on record.
Thanks! I’m quite happy with how it all played out & that makes me happier! Hope it’s a good multiplier.
The 2024 FAQ says if you terminate due to retirement, layoff, disability or death you're eligible for VCIP, so I'm guessing you'll get it.
Hope things are going good on the outside!
