Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Best decision of this BoD

Clearly the Intel BoD is clueless. But probably the best decision they made is firing the bozo who destroyed the company. Wish they had done it 2 years ago.

Pat has been a disaster in every possible way. The guy literally bankrupted the company. Surrounded himself with a bunch of yes-men and yes-women. Refused to seek truth and the real data. Heard what he wants to hear. Ignored or worse, shunned any contrarian view.

The analysts and bloggers crying because they think Pat was amazing are just utterly clueless.

How can the guy have "literally" bankrupt the company when it hasn't filed for bankruptcy? The company is in as tough position but call it what it is.

Though the BoD stopped short of the CFO. I am wondering why. He was supposed to be watching the finances. He kept on saying not to worry and Intel was in an OK shape. Can he still be trusted?
