Is there an official list of the 65 stores yet?

Store 46 (NH) was told they were closing at the end of January when closures were announced last year. A couple of months ago they were told that they would not be closing in January. Employees assumed the store signed another year lease and would stay open another year. After reading about the timeline of stores closing in March, I’m wondering if that is when 46 will close. If that’s the case, Macy’s gave them all false hope.
I remember there used to be 3-4 daily colleagues per cosmetic counter. You’re lucky to find 1 for the Big 3 counters!
Surprised not to see our local store on the list. Maybe has to do with the lease. If you're a fugitive you could hide in this store and not worry about being seen. I remember the days when the cosmetics area in every store was like a party, so many people selling and shoppers. Now, two associates can manage the few shoppers. I miss the good old days.
That list has been proven to be inaccurate….
If we close a main door is the furniture gallery associated with it closing also?
Just so you know, Don't believe that list. There are many stores on it that are not part of the 65.
Michigan looks about right. I think Fairlane makes $ but the mall is sketchy. 35 years ago, it was a high end mall with a Lord and Taylor, Hudson's, and a Saks Fifth Avenue.
as someone who has the list, I don’t know why someone below is quoting doors which are growth doors as closing.
Yes, they would go through the hassle.. I've seen it before with G-B stores.
Interesting , I work at one of the stores listed in this list of “closing” stores.
Things are in the works to install a back stage at our location starting in the new year, would they actually go through all the trouble to install it if indeed we were on the chopping block?
No, every store in our area that I was told was closing I was in subsequently told they weren’t closing, and then again that they were closing, and then again that some of them were, and some of them weren’t and then I was told I had a backwards that the ones that I had that were closing aren’t and ones I had that are staying open are closing. So again I answer no
