Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel’s drama is becoming incredibly boring

If it wasn’t for our livelihoods, that nobody gives a damn about, there would be no suspense left in this endless saga of incompetence, weak leadership and utter lack of imagination. The only mystery that still somewhat boggles the mind is how it’s been possible to sc--w up this badly. It required a remarkable level of skill.

Sit back do the bare minimum and enjoy the show. I no longer get myself worked up over this place, did that for 30 years. This is a job and nothing more, i give as much ahit about intel as they do to me - thats fair it works both ways. My organization is more concerned with happiness than results anyways. Grab the popcorn and enjoy the show, its actually quite humorous watching the decisions made by folks having too many chromosomes. Bring on the final act

Intel executives got high on money & power and became cocky. Several articles in the 80s exposed this and it was never corrected. I'll say it again, Pat was part of the PROBLEM all along. Now we are way behind the competition due to complacency AND nobody really wants to do business with us. Shut the lights off when you leave.
