Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Lightweight proppant

Is it a scam? Sounds like SOD wells all over again. Just a scam for someone to get a good promotion.

I would love to see the evidence of 15% uplift presented and peer reviewed. Guaranteed to be a scam for hipos to get their RSU and promotion. Why does management keep falling for this cr-p?

SOD was stress oriented drilling and ruined a bunch of acreage in the Delaware Basin by creating areas that can now only be drilled by short laterals so will never be drilled. Total failure due to siloed thinking and not looking at the big picture. But hey at least some hipos got their RSU and promotion out of it! No accountability for the total failure it is.

Is this the CSR project? I believe it is, right? If it's the one I worked on many years ago in Clinton it won't work. We knew this years ago but management kept it alive to show Darren that Clinton was productive. All MTS knew it was a bust but we got paid good money to work on this cr-p.

No possibility of whistleblowers as only hipos have been working this project- another reason why the project is already a success

What's SOD?

I suspect the production uplift is a lie. Any whistleblowers?

SOD was a project at a wrong location.

Who cares about the patent? There is no proof of seeing 15% average uplift that was promised to shareholders

SOD was a colossal failure... and the ops teams are still dealing with the repercussions. That was at least a PDS cycle ago, so likely water under the bridge at this point.

At least we didn’t go as far as appointing a project executive for SOD.

Read the patent. But I do not expect the fools on this board would understand the benefit of proppant lighter than sand be stronger than sand.

It is total BS. That said, those behind the grift will not be held accountable and it will all be swept under the rug eventually.
