Intel employed 23,000 in Oregon at the beginning of 2024, 12,000 people in Arizona sites, 3,000 employees in New Mexico.
It also had 4,900 employees across Ireland, 11,700 in Israel (3,900 at fabs and 7,800 in IDC development), 14,000 employees in Malaysia.
So at 2024, just 65,600 employees (including all WPs, sWPs, PE, sees) out of 124,800 were employed at all main Intel sites. Do someone know who are the rest 59,200 employees?

'Labs...' Rofl god only knows their are countless labs employees who will never produce anything that results in real revenue... Remember Craig Kinney's Country Fairs?!?!!!
The other 59k are No-Show employees at the fab construction sites, 'employed' by the CS mafia.
This was well documented in a Sopranos episode from season 19.
Appears Software side is missing, this count to me looks to be mainly Intel Foundry side. Don't forget labs and whatever else they do in California...
the amount of excess headcount bloat is staggering... about 15,000 more will have to be cut right away.
anybody who has worked at outside companies other then Intel are shocked when they see all the people there.
it is very comfortable with employees socializing in the cafe and so on... until they have to be laid off because the company is burning through cash at an alarming rate.
"7,800 in IDC development" .. what do these people do?
China - 12000 (R&D and marketing), India - 15000 -R&D and marketing, Poland - 4000 - R&D and sales, California - 13500 - R&D, headquarter, Intel museum and design in Folsom (closed?), Costa Rica - 3400 - (manufacturing was closed yet in 2014), Ohio - 70 employees (April 2024)
India, Costa Rica, Ohio, Poland, etc etc
