The management is just creating fake expectations for Hock to stay longer in Broadcom.
Managers saving their as--s for RSUs
only ICs get laid-off, mangers are safe. Who said Broadcom takes good care of ICs? It actually gives extra powers to Managers. They play big games, all politics.
Culver City focused (management) team who ignores Palo Alto teams openly, managers become ICs as and when they need to save their positions.
No innovation at all! We are selling obsolete technology!
