Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

I am absolutely outraged. How can we shine more light on this? People (at bp) need to wake up.

@daj+1w0k791V how come Open Talk was used successfully to inform the Board that Looney had not disclosed all his scr**ing of certain female staff and promoting them, when the Board and many senior BP executives, in fact, knew already?

Until last year, people were getting ahead on the basis of who they jumped into bed with. Very demotivating for others who instead worked hard.

I wonder if anyone has reported it to Open Talk, so it is on record and they have to at least acknowledge it was reported.

Another way to look at it is BP entered a JV with a guy who the board fired because he cannot meet our ethical standards. The entire board has to be replaced.

So we entered a JV with all the required due diligence that is needed for that level of transaction (BoD approval) in full knowledge that a guy who is or was actively suing the company is sat there on their board. I’m sorry but this is insane.

The comms just hoped that we are all id--ts who can’t use google.

If you want to get ahead at bp, it’s not about what you’ve done, the only thing that matters is who you know.

The JV was featured as the top story in the ITK newsletter, but not one single word about BL. The communication from the top at this company is absolute sh*t. bp is the 51% owner of the JV. We had to know about this. MA and HL need to resign now.

This is so disgusting. No respect for the BP Board. No respect for ADNOC. If BL fell in a pile of dog s**t, he would come up clean.

This actually makes me sick. I have no faith or respect for bp’s board. Are they trying to sink the company?
