AT&T vs Broadom settlement

On 13th Dec, AT&T and Broadom informed the Court that "the Parties have settled this action
and intend to submit to the Court a stipulation of discontinuance next week."
Anyone knows the details how much AT&T ended up paying if it was 1000% or more fair BC typical 300%-400% increase only?

"Nevermind the fact that so many of the large companies had significantly overdeployed their perpetual licenses"

That was the tactic for at least a decade or so - Renew the original ELA's at ki-ler discounts, ignore the overdeployed CPU/socket count and sell them more of the growing portfolio to up customer spend.

Eventually it had to end.

VMware is over - move on away from it.

Companies like AT&T were getting 75+% discounts from the prior wallflower VMware leadership, so a "1,000%" increase is really more like 250% at the most (before negotiations). Nevermind the fact that so many of the large companies had significantly overdeployed their perpetual licenses, so you can cut that 250% by at least one third. And then there is the fact that they actually CAN use some of the unused components of the VCF stack to displace other incumbent vendor spend (if they will get off their d-mb as--s and do the work), and it soon becomes a wash.

AT&T is full of cr-p, just every other whiney customer.
