Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel's doom

Due to:

  1. Nepot$sm, favor$tsm by $nd$ans in hiring, laying off, rewarding etc.
  2. Oregon/IDC arrogance.
  3. Silo mentality, horrible IP teams.
  4. Too many PEs/Senior PEs/Fellows doing GR8/9 work especiallyin NEX. They take credit of lower grade workers work.
  5. CPU, CPU, CPU when no one outside cares abt CPU much. They shd shut down CPU teams and focus on GPU/AI.
  6. Horrible purchases of $srael$ companies (Habana. Mobileye etc).
  7. Giving 6 months of bonding leave.
  8. Nepot$sm by $nd$ans especially in NEX, NXNE

NEX upper management should be all let go and bring in new people. Katti and Lingham are college professors with no idea about how 5G/6G, Ericsson, Nokia, Telecom business work. Then layoff 75% of the PEs, Senior PEs without any impact to the business. These PEs, Senior PEs treat Intel job like Govt "lifetime" jobs and get by collecting regular huge paychecks just buttering up the upper management.

"It's like the collapse of the Soviet Union."
Exactly except in the US now there is no common culture
and maybe a lot more paid propaganda.

"Intel ALWAYS gets duped by %sraelis. $sraelis brainwashes Intel in keep buying/investing worthless and almost bankrupted companies with tens of billions of US$ (similar to US Govt)! "
No not duped. The board of intel forces this.
So who has power on the intel board?

Intel's, especially NEX/NXNE, PEs, Senior PEs, Fellows will not be able get a job outside Intel and so they just hang around and collect $400K+ paychecks/RSUs. They are technically very weak and just manages people like regular Manager (with grade of Director and Senior Director) wo creating any patents. They just survive by brown nosing higher Management. Sachin Katti and Srinivas Lingham should be fired immediately for promoting the culture of nepot&sm annd brown nosing.

Intel ALWAYS gets duped by %sraelis. $sraelis brainwashes Intel in keep buying/investing worthless and almost bankrupted companies with tens of billions of US$ (similar to US Govt)! They celebrate with champagne once Intel buys them becasue they know they are saved and now can become Intel's VP, EVP etc.

Exactly! Katti/Lingham (the supposedly AI guy from Habana now busy doing just slick PPT presentation) are clueles, incompetent and only doing nepit$sm to bring more #ind#ans under their materials and laying off non-#nd#ans

NEX hasn't produced a competitive Ethernet adapter since the release of the 800 series 5-years ago which maxes out at 100Gb/s. Melanox, which is owned by Nvidia, has 400gb/s adapters on the market today.

In NEX a lot of spreadsheets and power point pushers and endless forums, working group meetings. The engineering is secondary. It’s gotten worse since CPM.

Intel started digging its grave way back at WMT, due to super poor management and internal pirate politics. Those who grabbed design were incapable of meeting the future and competing.

It's like the collapse of the Soviet Union.

A totally insular and inefficient system exposed to the realities of real world competition and free markets.
Good luck comrades!

Unfortunately these are what remain in Intel. With them Intel can not continue to live. Yet without them Intel does not know how to survive.
