Citrix has turned into an incredibly stressful and unpleasant place to work. If their goal was to create such a lousy atmosphere that people would want to quit on their own, I guess they're succeeding. I hate to play into their hand if that's true, but I can't take much more of this and I've started looking for a new job.

TK's philosophy is that everyone is replaceable, so he's not interested in retaining good talent.The only purpose of an employee is to be a cog in the machine, and the fewer cogs, the better. It's quite a cynical and destructive view of capitalism, but given who owns Citrix, it's not surprising at all. Private equity people are among the lowest forms of life.
