Severance package in India?
If you get laid off now, warn kicks in , you will be in payroll for next 2 months, so you get your next rsu vest which is on dec 15th. Not after that . You also get your bonus, as you are still in payroll. All this depends on when you get laid off.
Severance is 2 months warn + 2w/y
If you work in VMware and Broadcom together for 3 years, you still get warn + 8 w as it is the minimum.
I have heard that you also get your next RSU vest regardless of WARN... is this true?
Broadcom seems to be skirting WARN act this year by performing their workforce reductions in small groups under the compliance limit.
VMware package was 2 months non-working notice period (WARN) + severance package (2 months pay + 1wk/ yr)
Is Broadcom WARN + 2 months + 2 wk/yr
Or just WARN + 2 wk/yr?

No 2 months + 2 weeks per year with a cap of 40 weeks and minimum of 8 weeks
