Everyone I know who got laid off deserved to be there more then me.

Be strong. Don’t let this win. There are better places to work than Fiserv. Let’s hope for the best. Some teams are already struggling so bad. They could have easily shifted those people into open roles. I feel like a majority of those let go were part of performance and attendance and it was just easy for leadership to cut those first. I know several people affected and I know those people were more remote than in office like we were told by Frank last year. They used this as an easy way to reduce the workforce and get out of paying large severance packages. I don’t defend it but if you’re in the Berkeley Heights offices, they fancy 2 year tax incentives ran out this year or early next year. Trim the fat, harm the workforce. Next year they’ll rehire tons of folks they can’t replace offshore and set us back even further than we already are. This is FirstData management at its finest.
