Juniper acquisition not happening?

This deal might not go through.

The high-stakes meeting between the companies and the Justice Department’s top antitrust officials typically occurs before the government decides whether to file a lawsuit. It’s often referred to as a “last-rites” meeting.

Would be great if it did not happen. I know folks there how tell me nightmare stories of their sales leadership. Somehow some Cisco folks were placed there and they brought in a ton of folks from that failing company.

Do we want a culture of ego centric former Cisco sales folks here? It will ki-l the company. Please Antonio don’t let the Cisco folks take our culture away. They are puppets. The juniper sales folks that have some tenure selling juniper solutions are talented according to my conversations with a few of them there. Although that is subjective at best. What is not is that Cisco culture is a cancer.

HPE needs to lead.

You are lucky if it does not happen..Juniper is not worth even 20$ a share..why would waste 12 bn$ for a failing company I don't get it unless there is a personal benefit for HPE management

I’d still say it happens. Probably soon but worst case they wait for new administration.

The current DOJ makes company sweat it out a bit.
