Someone -- please explain to me how this guy got promoted to the board. I just watched the replay of the AMA with Alam and he can't even look at the camera or articulate anything in a concise way.

Dominik Asam is a hard task master and very much goal oriented, borderline shrewd person - Quote from a friend who work at Airbus in Hamburg.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes over the CEO role in a couple of years time. He already proved his worth after joining SAP by dramatically increasing the share price for the shareholders and a happy retirement farewell gift to Hasso.
DEI
If that is CKs intention, he already failed.
Dominik Asam was on the board of the most highly-politicised company in Europe - Airbus, where several governments owning it try to outwit each other. And he moved on, he was not sacked. IMHO Dominik is, from a politcs point-of-view, the most dangerous animal in that cage.
CK wants people on the Board who will never challenge him and d-mb enough to not plot against him.

We get your point (As much as we wish that we didn’t)! You’re not only an intolerant dinosaur, you are also completely and utterly boring! Go be a contributor to Breitbart or something, please! I’ll even put in a good word for you and attest as to the deplorability of your prose!
It's a textbook case of a DEI hire.

Rumors are that CK would have preferred Jan Gilg, but another middle-aged, white, German man in Walldorf on the board was a no-go.
