Not sure if these permits H-2A, H-2B, H-1B are "scam" One of the many reasons USA is very successful and "envy' from other countries is because USA relies heavily on 'legal' and 'illegal' immigrants. During Covid, a lot of business relied on illegal immigrants. Groceries such as Napa wine, fruits and vegetables are the job of immigrants with extremely low wages, unsanitary living conditions, etc.

**Politicians (Republicans, Democrats and Trump) are FULLY aware about immigrants bring success to the USA in various forms.

A country should serve its citizens first, regardless of how helpful immigrants have been. Long term, countries always strive towards empowering the citizens first, using immigration to bolster, not replace its citizens.

I think complain is mostly about WITCH and body shops, new international graduates with 10 yrs of fake experience taking jobs from American kids. Fraud and unethical practices are rampant there in h1B and OPT and CPT and L1.

I am just taking a wild guess that you are H1B holder and most probably an Indian. I am too H1B and Indian. I already commented about this in a earlier post. If people here think that H1B and indians stripped cause their jobs being stripped from them then they are 100% correct. But do we wanted it to happen? No! Atleast I never want an american loose a penny because of me. This country has given a lot to me and i will always respect the views of this country and it's people. Lets bring this topic to rest and channel our energies to find more about the layoffs. I wish everyone a better paying jobs! Cheers!
