Benefits

Have q question - if you continue benefits though COBRA do you have the same June-june benefit period? I ask because I have long since met my deductible (been very sick) so I wasn’t sure if it “starts over” with the deductible. Thank you in advance.

COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) is a continuation of your employer-sponsored health insurance plan, and so by law, deductibles and maximum out of pockets cannot be reset until the policy year restarts, notwithstanding the “call to find out” chirps.

Yes, you have a continuation of the same benefits and no need to meet deductibles and MOOP again.
