ISP Payout

Does anyone know when we receive the payout and is it a lump sum or weekly payments (For unemployment benefit purposes)? What's a good number to contact Intel in regards to ISP?

It is a lump sum, deposited to the bank around 1-2 weeks after the final day.

I got my unused vacation + sabbatical paid out w/ my last paycheck. I got the severance paid out 2 weeks after my termination date. YMMV...

Why do you need it for unemployment? You don't need to claim severance on unemployment. All you need to claim is any money you were paid that you worked for the week you are claiming. If you worked any hours that week you're claiming just do the math, it's really not that hard. Plus that week is a waiting period. I didn't claim any paid out vacation, PA or sabbatical.

My taxes were withheld at the highest rate possible before I got the money. For Oregon, that's roughly 43% state + federal. It's treated the same as if you got a bonus.

Yes, we get sc--wed on taxes unless you were an executive. They get 15 monthly payments. Another big FU from Intel. Anyone still working there should pay attention and remember anytime you are asked to work more.

For my VSP, severance is a lump sum but any other monies owed, SPP contributions etc., was separate.
