I keep hearing more and more things about February

I’ve been worrying about it nonstop since the last round. I’m fairly new to the company as well and it came when I desperately need it. I’m scared every day
I have also heard people will be retitled.
I have heard the next round is being organized now and they will be giving absolute minimal packages. Prepare to be retitled and have salary adjusted down . My boss has already hinted to this on my last one on one. All I hear from him is just keep on going, I will let you know when I hear something. BULLSH-T. Just like you let me know that another leader just gave her notice. Do we tell people, god forbid. Its a big secret. Instead I hear about it from one of our customers at a conference. Love the honesty. Told over and over there will be no more cuts. B.S. Benefits will be better, B.S. We are gonna get you that promotion we talked about months ago. B.S. nothing but lies.
You should worry. Find a job while you have a job if you are young and still have a long time to work before retiring. The severance is only good if you have there a long time.
I have anxiety attacks about it weekly
Yes, I worry about it but I’m trying not to. Idk why people act like the severance pay is so high….. I thought it was only 2 weeks of severance for every year worked and doesn’t seem very lucrative to me unless you are a boomer who stayed at the company for 15 years. Which even so, in this job market it may take you a year to actually land a job so I don’t get it.
Worry or hopeful? I want to see that severance $$$
