I just saw a great goodbye message from someone whose last day was today after 19 yrs, 10 months, & 9 days.
So damn close to 20 yrs & the 20-yr anniversary gift.
Why does this one make history when it’s been happening several times every year? This is not the first one and will not be the last either.

I was laid off in February and am feeling so much better physically and mentally. This is the best thing that happened to me. Cisco is extremely toxic and not a good place for talented, hardworking and innovative employees.
Last day today, no regrets its just a numbers game. The last year or so has not been my favorite period at CSCO ... it's different here now. I'm not really sure what happened to the fun and bada$$ culture I remember but it's gone. I'm relieved to be out, the employee experience moving forward will be difficult.
I survived this time. Unlikely next time.
