Over the last 10-15 years, Indians exploited loopholes to bring in thousands of others, often prioritizing caste and religion. Now, karma seems to be at play as one caste lobby ousts another. Utterly toxic work environment.

Flattening ? In PMO still SD's Reporting into SD, and also Principals around. Why not flatten that furhter like other tech teams. Probbaly Diversity playing a role ?

Layoff in PPT was kinda off reasonable. Structure got flatten and many middle managers either kicked out or converted to IC.
PMO cut in half (50%), which makes sense.

It is such a sh-t show of a company filled with unethical and immature individuals as Leaders, don't have an effing clue of who is working and who is not and making these layoffs decisions which affected hundreds of hard working employees. People with tenure, good track record and mostly not on immigration visa were targeted in this round and were let go. Disgusting ! The execs are lying with a straight face and lack transparency. Karma will catch up, eventually for these d-mb assess.

Gonna be honest been with coda 10+ left my previous company as a result of poor leadership and a corporate culture that was hostile. When I started we had around 5k visa employees now we're sitting at 28k+. What I'm seeing is the standard backstabbing political culture creep into Visa it's sad cause it was a treat company with wonderful leadership cultivated over decades but now it's just no longer the company it was and with he rapid growth came mediocre leadership. Not sure we can recover our culture... Or that it'll ever be a great place to work ever again.

I’m sorry to hear this..i worked at Visa for 15 years and was layer off for no reason about 1.5 years ago. I received nothing but good performance reviews every year and was treated like by HR like a criminal. So much for uplifting everyone everywhere which is so far from what Visa now stands for. You will get through this..it will be hard no doubt but you will be ok. About how many people Foster City was affected? Were there any from Mission Rock?
