Walgreens needs to revert back to a US only company. Going global and becoming WBA was a horrible decision and the start of this companies downfall .....but it wasn't the worst decision. That would be the hiring of Roz...........

All this, yet the execs are raking in the money. Whatever happened to performance management? Tim will make $13.3M this year, Stafeno $7.9M. How can any of these Board members sleep at night???? Fire them all, Stefano is a loser and needs to go along with his nepo hire. Where is the SEC??????
And once again Stefano and his nepo partner are focused on photo ops vs driving sales for Boots and ultimately WBA. Perhaps the most narcissistic two we've ever seen.
Nice way to make the news Boots......did you learn nothing from Target, Bud-Light, and others who've tried to ride the woke train??? Way to go OrnelA....perhaps one less trip to Monaco on the company's dime and more time focusing on the company would help.
Honestly, it seems that management is preparing to sell Walgreens altogether. The retention pay is done during times of instability and a merger/acquisition. If more people left after a huge layoff, the value of the company falls further (hard to imagine it would but lets be realistic).
So, who is going to buy Walgreens in 2025?
What the heck is HR doing? The new HR leader appears to be a puppet.
Neither situation is appropriate and both point towards a fundamental problem with this company. They reward and protect the worthless and drive away and diminish those who provided value. A true sign of a "sick" company....no pun intended.
Neal has a dozen "nepo" poster children compared to Stef's one.
Stef will never let his dear Orn leave and run the risk of being unemployed. She has and continues to be the "nepo" poster child for WBA.
