Security Teams got butchered

wow, the security teams got butchered. MC was on a rampage. The bootlickers survived.

Wishing those impacted all the best, Heads up, the ones booted were good and loyal co-workers. It seems the outspoken and those who don't play politics survived for the moment.

What value do they actually provide to the company aside from making sure everyone "does their annual training" and sending incredibly obvious fake spam? Not to mention ineffective, outdated and outright cumbersome security practices internally. Back when I worked for this hole in the ground company I abhorred working with the security team because of how disorganized and scattered tasks and information was.

Not sure why anyone would be surprised at those type of roles getting cut down. It's about damn time if you ask me. Sh-t needs to get streamlined.
