I'd have been more than happy to walk away with severance.

Hitouch is so fu--ing poorly ran. So many chiefs and not enough Indians. Double D went way over his head and really fu---d up this summer keeping the shady a-s kisser. Ooohhhh helllooo! I’ve never wanted something to fail so bad in my life. My old boss this year at HT actually had heart and knew what he was doing. But, alas, politics and the buddy system. Most of our team quit because the only person they believed in was cut like a piece of bacon.
The new leader over furniture is interesting. Failed at leading sales teams work in strategy was a big bust. Resulting in no growth and mass layoffs and restructures continuing. Good luck furniture you have had poor leaders in the past with RD on the Staples side, BM is no better. Sad to see what happened to furniture and all of the tenure and talent long gone in the past.
I know a bunch that sell furniture at Hitouch that wanted out with severance so bad. They hate it over there. Bad leaders bad direction and they prayed for layoffs and severance. The ones still there are actually pi---d.
I second this. I 100% would have volunteered. I want out but not without being eligible for EI.
What a great post! The quiet quitters love it! You are in the majority of those that remain. Good for you for being brave and speaking the obvious. Look for a new job while you have a job and get out when you can.
