Fellow RTO mandated employee at another company. Imbecile C-suite keeps wondering why productivity isn’t up after forcing everyone back 5 days and must log 8 hrs online being monitored by Sapience. You want to change this, writer your congress rep and get them to sponsor a bill giving corporations a tax rebate for getting cars off the road. Want to see an about face by Jassy. Money talks. All the innovation and collaboration BS will go out the doir.

Amazon is going to lose talent that's hard to replace, it's insane. Sure they brag about their talent being replaceable, but the training process for newcomers is at least 3 months, and newcomers barely stay a year, so it's all wasted effort in the end. RTO is just a silly management idea to rosy their short-term financials. Jassy will be retired soon anyway.

Talent:

Amazon doesn't have essential workers, so they can go work from home.

"talent" - what circle-back bullsh-tjobs.com words are these? It's not hollywood.

I bet all blue collar workers say often "oh my god, I have to go to the job site? I'm quitting!"

Most ESSENTIAL workers GO. TO. WORK.

They don't stay home. Office workers stay home. Desk jobs.

If you WFH you are NOT essential to society's functioning - ie not important.
