Just wanted to let people know that the engagement survey isn't exactly anonymous. Upper Management can't see your name but they can filter the results by location and grade level. It is easy to tell who scored negatively if you only have 3 or 4 coworkers in your same page grade and location. If you're worried that scoring your manager low will make them retaliate against you, it is a very real possibility.

At this point I don't care if they know that I am displeased with the company... I'm just working on my resume and looking around... You can't really fire someone for being displeased if their metrics are fine.
Or if you do answer honestly - expect it to come back to you either in a 1:1 or a skip level - they all know what is being said but do nothing but use it as an excuse to put you on the layoff list next time around

Don't answer the survey.
This is true. I was in corporate communications for 5 years and MDs and above can see your name and scores
Schwab is a toxic soup of lies
they force the survey to appease the board - they can say the "got survey results". they don't really want the results unless they are all glowing! They are not anonymous and they know who doesn't fill one out
Yeah, I wish they would be transparent. What's the point of the survey if we're all too scared to be honest? That is a serious question. It costs Schwab money to do this, so I assume there is a reason to force a survey on us, even when they don't want honest answers.
The filtering only works as long as there are at least 4 respondents in the respective categories. So, yes the PL can filter, but not if there aren’t at least 4 people once filtered. Helps them narrow down trends but still not giving them a name.
