Ericsson, the Swedish telecom giant that purchased Boise’s Cradlepoint in 2020, continues to downsize its local operation.
A number of employees have taken to LinkedIn in recent days to note they were part of a round of layoffs from Ericsson’s Enterprise Wireless division — which was formerly known as Cradlepoint.
An Ericsson company spokesperson did not answer BoiseDev’s specific questions about the number of people impacted, how those people would be aided in a transition, or its future commitment to the Boise area.
Instead, the company provided a statement that said it is “realigning” business to find “profitable growth.”
