Ready To Quit

So, I have always been a trooper and respected people no matter their background.

Things have gone too far with preferential hiring policies. My last three positions have involved me having to do significant clean ups of data and processes. Each spot with a leader who, let’s say, didn’t earn it.

I’m tempted to just quit and let them clean up their own mess (they can’t).

Plenty of money trading outside markets. Do that and don't tell the firm.

As a former boss told me, "Everyone is replaceable." Quit. Fidelity will survive without you.

I used to get mad when things like this happened, but then I remember Abby is an inclusivity hire so she wants to build a team of people who can look up to her. She literally can’t hire qualified people and still have an ego.

Never 'quit' a job. If you know you need out, just do sub-par work and always be 'willing and able' to work and let them fire you/ force you out. Remember - the moment you willingly resign is the moment you give up any chance at severance and unemployment benefits. That is how employment works in the USA.
