I know someone who was affected by the layoff. In order for them to receive the severance they had to sign an NDA forbidding them from revealing terms of the pay-off. No one is going to want to put their payment at risk, that's why no one is giving anything away.
Why the tight lips on what the severance packages are like? I hear the severance packages are trash but I'd like to know to at the very least better prepare for this sh-tshow.
0 bonus. As you get older in the role you will get replaced by less experienced workers. Not worth for long term sticking - max 2 to 3 years
