Has anyone been told if you call out after a holiday. Truist won't pay you.

Branch problems
I was sick.
It actually stated if you call off before and after a holiday. You have to call off both days
Managing director here. Depending on your LOB. My LOB this will result in you having to use other pto or unpaid. It will also automatically trigger your direct manager to schedule a TM relations interview for an investigation on absenteeism.
The policy is clearly spelled out in the Holidays section of benefits.truist.com.
Fake news
Got to love all the fake rumors that has nothing to do with layoffs
But interesting that one is planning to call out to not work vs scheduling vacation - the dedication is great
Yes, this is a written policy. Calling out before or after a holiday unscheduled will cost you. It also usually leaves your team in a tough spot as those are valued vacation time slots so the schedule is lean already. If you call out on those days and you are not sick I would not want to work with you.
