Why is this allowed? Not only allowed, but sometimes it feels like management through bullying is encouraged. Somebody here seems to think that if your direct reports are not afraid of you, you're doing something wrong. It's the worst possible approach to leadership.

Our beloved Cuban king coming back to oppress the women again. This is a Cathy problem. She can’t see it.
Bullying has always been a problem from insecure managers. They're insecure because they have no experience or qualifications and are only there because they're connected. It's horrific.
My boss is keeping tabs on EVERYTHING I do. I think they are concerned they are going to lay us off and will be stuck doing our work. Oh well. I am not telling you sh-t. Nor am I documenting what/how I work. If I leave, you are on your own, “buddy.” I don’t owe you sh**. They threw me under the bus the minute they thought our jobs were at risk. If I go, my knowledge is going with me and then leaders will see how truly incompetent you are.
Come on now, this day and age news studios are frothing at the mouth for stories like this. Especially from a Fortune 500 company in the middle of a sale. If you have proof, get some!
Easy peasy game over.
Who is Darth Ang for $10000
Toxic adults bully at work, at home, and online. Mine is quick to belittle and marginalize anyone who challenges her; she's ruthless. I've stopped bringing it up because it always falls on deaf ears. Being in her crosshairs is mentally and emotionally draining.
Major issues on our team here in Houston, we had Ops Techs terminated due to our manager personally not liking them. Bullying is a very real issue that needs to be addressed, we questioned a few processes and our manager was infuriated and took extreme steps to make employees working environment very uncomfortable and miserable.
Are you being bullied or overly sensitive. Honest question, workplace bullying definitely is a thing.
Lucky. I made one mistake of spending billions on fiber and got bullied and fired.
My manager gave me a swirly the other day. I thought that was uncalled for and unprofessional.
