Is anyone else getting tired of the fake happiness and inforced fun in the office lately?
Its painful enough as it is but this is just humiliating.
Senior managment dont even see us as grown adults.
The return to office is sh-t and we hate it.
Staff are unhappy and most are just waiting for a package or a slow painful unhappy death.

They allowed me to move far far away. They told me remote was the future so move wherever you want to.. I'm so glad I don't have to see the fake smiles and fake happiness in person . It's already annoying in the calls. I'm not relocating - I'm already being punished for being far away with not being able to apply for any positions because of my new found undesirable status. They can do what they will - RTO, WFR.. this is my job and not my livelihood. I'm not going to slack, I'll fake a happy tune and do what I am paid to do but don't expect loyalty from me.

I think a few Pizza Parties are in order

Everyone is unhappy. Management included.
The feedback to VP's is RTO took a few weeks but sales are excited about being back, collaborating and the buzz is back.
Middle management are the problem, they are covering their own a-s by selling us all out.
If it doesn't translate into $$$ in my pocket or benefit to my family, I pay no attention to it.
No. I love the fake smiles and hollow optimism.
It is disgusting for sure
