BNSF CHEAPING OUT ON THEIR EMPLOYEES TO CATER TO SHAREHOLDERS

“Feeling beyond frustrated with the company right now. Every year, we hear about record profits—millions, maybe even billions—but when it comes to showing appreciation for the employees who make it all happen? Nothing. Not a gift card, not a holiday bonus, not even a simple ‘thank you.’ We’re putting in the work day in and day out, especially during the holidays when everything ramps up. You’d think they’d at least acknowledge that with a little something for Thanksgiving or Christmas. But apparently, their ‘holiday spirit’ only applies to lining their own pockets. We’re the ones on the ground, making this company run, and we deserve better than empty words and bigger numbers in the corporate reports. How about giving back to the people who make those profits happen?”

You get a lead Christmas ornament manufactured by orphans in China, because manufacturing a Christmas ornament in America is too expensive for them, so what do you expect

Hey, I'm so sorry that you feel that way, as an engineer for BNSF, I want to remind you that YOU applied for this gig, they did not recruit you, you decided you wanted to be a part of the circus, and you applied. I just show up and go forwards and backwards, they line my pocket well enough very well with hiring these managers that can't even read and write and that don't even know what they're doing. They owe me nothing, as a matter of fact let me tell the BNSF thank you, thank you for giving me this great job, and great benefits, I was able to put not one but two children through college Pepperdine University as a locomotive engineer, as long as they can't figure out how to move a train, or how to add crews back I have a job. Be happy they think cutting crews saves them money because the trains barely move and these managers, they hire are bottom of the barrel. Be happy that they don't know how to run an effective railroad that's why we have jobs. I want you to stand up and know you are valued here, don't ever let someone tell you different. As a matter of fact to all BNSF employees, you matter, your hard work and dedication matter and none of us could have ever made it this far without the help of these great executive management team, and even the little managers that can barely read and write we appreciate you, Train crews, your work will never go unnoticed, the time away from home, the being on duty 10 hours to get a DH back goes unnoticed, to all the clerical, admins, interns, cleaning staff, and even the prideful and arrogant employees noting you do goes unnoticed you are appreciated, there is no pizza, no donut, no gift card, that could ever take the place of my salary knowing these people don't know what they are doing, don't know when to hire, when to layoff. Let's never forget we are all appreciated when that payroll check hits, they owe us nothing.
