Is this true in 2025?!

never fear. as soon as MM and the AI company get done there will be no work days for anyone!
Funny how in the new office people tend to keep office doors closed… not well designed
You have gotten that right Tony
It looked like they don’t even wanna see each other on Mondays
So a month after world mental health day and a couple of days after announcing COP for the UK, management decide to promote this as part of the health and wellbeing of the companies staff. Work home life balance yeah management have shown what they really think
So what’s our predictions for the share price sky rocketing too when Wall Street hear employees are in on a Monday?
I could work on the GD moon on Mondays for all the good it would do with our dismal IT infrastructure and useless management that never misses an opportunity to demonstrate their utter lack of vision, competence or integrity. A few more hours a week on these ridiculous floors with miles of wasted space, as we retire to our anti-collaboration coffins will be sure do the trick to prevent some basic corporate governance.
When will the management team wake up and admit to their failings for the poor decisions affecting the share price? There is no confidence in management decisions within the company or stock market investors. Blaming staff not being in on a Monday or ageing assets in the North Sea which have propped the company up for years is desperate considering the track record of poor decisions management continue to make.
Classic Apache management. Just another decision to upset an already disgruntled workforce. How quickly can we reduce the headcount?
SR has a lot of nerve with his response. We’re living and working in 2024 man not 1965. Coming in on Mondays not only makes us more unstable (mentally and physicall) but DEFINITELY won’t bring a good attitude to any “collaborative in person” meetings you’re trying to force on us.
How many studies and surveys did we do for the Future of Work all to have it reversed so we could distribute meetings more evenly amongst days..?
Yes blame Monday’s wfh on performance and stock price. Wow
With this announcement about ending the hybrid work schedule, does that also mean the flexible schedule will be discontinued? Asking for a friend.
“Our collapsing stock can’t be our fault, it’s gotta be those rascal employees slacking off on Mondays”. You know this thought went through at least one EVP’s head.
Wake up people! Of course they are trying to get rid of headcount! They want us to leave. It’s the absolute cheapest way to clean house. SR and MM don't care who leaves. Everyone is expendable in their world.
Too many upper managers who do nothing but sit in meetings being exposed for how expendable they are?
What will be taken away next? LTI? Are you trying to make the workforce in Houston 50 people? Nobody cares about this dated “new” building with its perks??. Should have just kept POC.
It was high time they got rid of the last perk of working here.
They truly believe the stupid amenities at the new building are like some magic wonderland that we as millennial and gen z employees crave. Prepare to have me more disengaged until I find a new job. Keep your fcking holiday party bc I’m not partaking in that sht
They lied to everyone! They said our hybrid schedule would not change with the new office. Are they trying to get rid of people?
You were right. This is so stupid. Another psychopathic decision from MM?
Not surprising. Boomers are almost done with their working generation so they can go f themselves.
Where did you hear this from?
