I can also confirm that there was 100% a layoff for their in-house nationwide technical support team. Confirming what the previous poster sent, they laid off a majority, including people with more than 10 years of employment, of their technicians in lieu of AI support.
I'm with internal tech support, and all the seasonal employees are being laid off instead of just being put on furlough for later rehire. Apparently the FTS (Field Technical Support) job is being reshuffled into facility operations, but there's no guarantee that anyone who was previously scheduled to be rehired after furlough will be able to get any jobs back.
