Saw the latest TEBG mail. Seems the leadership has not finalised its operating model. It's been ever changing and when will it truly optimised?

headcount neutral doesn't mean no layoffs, notice how they keep beating around that bush in all conversations. for every new position she added it means someone else is losing their job. TEBG already has too many useless layers of management, now she is adding more.
Never seen a BG re-org that was headcount neutral...Never. In my 26 years at 3M when they announce at the BG level - someone is losing their job!
Does anyone understand the session by Wendy, on how this new model would result in Growth for TEBG?

Firstly, they changed to A3M. Next they changed to global based. Now they want to change to product vertical.
Can the executives make up their mind finally?
Headcount neutral? My foot! Let's see once the consolidation of roles occur, those redundant will not have a place to go to.

The re-org is 'headcount neutral', which is refreshing. Normally these things are just an excuse to fire thousands of people. I'm actually interested to see how it works. I think I'll actually try to contribute to the success considering it's not just a butchering like the last 20 re-orgs have been.
Another set of superficial changes that will not bring about any real changes or organic growth. None of our executives ever built any business and just reshuffling their positions and organizations will not be productive. MR did that , and before that IT did it too. BB is the new King in charge and doing what McKinsey consultants told him to do !
What are these changes? Some of us didn't get the email.
