How likely is that there will be Arrow Electronics layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Arrow just had a sizable layoff end August 2025. Mismanagement and bad decisions at the executive level including mistakes with not establishing a free trade zone, inability to apply tariffs properly, charging tariffs when they should not have, losing key people to hiring for diversity versus skill, moving key roles to Mexico without having the proper people trained to execute as well as , mismanagement in the warehouse . Sadly, all the good employees paid the price. Already understaffed and now it’s worse.
Just had one today. I don't think any of this is shocking - their IT/OT distribution business has a very limited future, in that there won't be ANY software distributors left other than AWS, MSFT, and Google via their web stores. Disti doesn't add any value to that section of the market - all they really do is add cost unnecessarily. Funny part is that most disti partners have been trying to raise their mark-up to 5%....and no one pays that as they cn easily just shop around with other disti partners. It's a horrible business to be in. That being said, their parts business is also hurting...but that's more temporarily and related to the global economic turndown. That section of the business should recover in-line with manufacturing.
Arrow should clean house
Unfortunately, that's not surprising.
At the end of October they laid off an entire IT group, switching those duties completely over to the India side. some people were in the midst of a migration project that I guess will now be completed over there. some of the employees who had worked there for 20+ years, were notified via a video conf call that their job and insurance were being eliminated in 4 days. just a cowardly move by Arrow Electronics.
18th Nov 2024 they had laid off 20% of workforce and moving those job offshore as part of their cost savings and restructuring plan
